Hi, yeah I go out to see them regularly during the summer. It’s important to open up the hive to check that the bee colony is healthy and that my project electronics are still working properly. It’s really fun (and a small bit scary) how they all come flying out of the hive when the lid is opened!

I know how scary it is to open a bee hive as my uncle has 12 different hives and he must open them all the time to keep the wasps at bay!!
