• Question: do you agree with using lab rats

      Hi Kirby,

      This is a really tough question. All living things deserve the right to life, however there is a lot of medical research carried out on lab rats. Without living subjects the advancements we make probably wouldn’t be possible.

      I think the use of animals for testing cosmetics or other non vital research is wrong. However I know if I had someone close to me who would die without treatment, and that treatment was developed using rats, it would not stop me wanting them to get treated.
