• Question: Do you like working with chemicals?

      I don’t get to work with chemicals very often because in my lab we aren’t allowed have any!

      Most of the time -yes!

      Some chemicals help you to do amazing things. There is a chemical groups called amines and we use them to purify our products. It’s incredible that they can separate the drug we want from tiny little cells.

      Chemicals can also be frightening. In the oil refinery you are surrounded by chemicals that would cause a massive explosion if they were exposed to a spark. Luckily, Places like that have lots of safety measures to stop that happening though!

      I rarely get to work with chemicals but I did chemistry in school and always enjoyed the experiments
