  Hi, working with medical equipment is a special area of engineering called “bio-medical engineering”. It is a popular topic for electronic engineers to specialise in, and though I haven’t worked in that area a lot of my friends have. There are some other labs in my department here in UCC working on all different kinds of medical equipment!
