Hi Kyle and Conor
It varies a lot. The main things are technical meetings with other engineers,
teaching in a classroom or lab (I work in university), administration, pure engineering work (usually at a computer), reading and writing. Oh and drinking a gallon or so of tea. The balance of these things varies from day to day – in summertime of course there’s no teaching, so I do a lot more technical stuff then.
This is a really difficult question because every day is different!
Somedays I am wokring out problems on a computer, other days I am wearing protectve clothing out on the line. Most of the time I go to work in the morning and I’m so busy I dont even realise it’s home time in the evening! thats what I love most about my job.
