      Developing a system where we can risk assess peoples potential to live a full life. In cases where they are at risk of not achieving a full life, developing a system of support for them – engineers should design out problems – this is better than fixing them after they happen.

      Pay a few bills and have a really nice holiday. There’s a danger I’d give up my job, and very quickly get bored. I hope I’d be sensible and use the money for a virtuous engineering project, like improving access to energy in developing countries. Also, being an engineer, I’d probably use it to improve on the invention, whatever it was.

      Making more inventions!

      When you make something, you get very attached to it, so you would do your best to make is as good as it could possibly be. Of course, this would be done on a yacht in the Caribbean!
