      Hi,

I dont make things, I provide a service. I operate in a monoploy so if you want to fly you need to pay the IAA for a licence.

I haven’t sold a single thing as an engineer! Most of my work is research and analysis and teaching – indirectly, some of it has an influence on the design and manufacture of products.

      Hi Deco,

It depends. When I made petrol and diesel, it made millions of euro a year.

The chocolate factory was the same but the quantity of product was much higher than in the oil refinery.

Where I work now, people need the medicine to stay alive. We don’t think of it as selling a product but as providing people with a better life. However, this makes money too and this helps us research more life saving treatments.
