I worked in the chocolate factory during what they call a “year in industry”. Between third and fourth year of college, you take a year long break and practice your engineering skills in real life. So it was never going to be long term, I was there for 13 months altogether.
The reason I didn’t return once I graduated was that I wanted more of a challenge, and I wanted to do something good with my skills. I loved working in the chocolate factory but working with medicine is a lot more challenging and I feel my work is important and making a difference
