      Yes absolutely. We call it dissemination and outreach and its a big part of what we do in work and as engineers. I have just given a 1/2 interview to a reporter on an EU project I managed called CORES.. Its on my profile page

      I go to a number of conferences throughout the year. I present my research but I also listen to other peoples work to see if there’s anything that relates to my work.

      I’ve had a few press releases about my work including when I won an award for a startup idea I had http://www.siliconrepublic.com/clean-tech/item/36974-wit2014 and a profile on my research http://www.siliconrepublic.com/innovation/item/38811-wit2014

      There’s no point making something in the lab if you don’t get out there and sell it. It may be a fantastic idea but someone has to know about it in order for it to be successful.

      Yes, we are always trying to spread information on the projects we are doing to raise interest and awareness. I was just in Brussels last week to give a presentation on one of our projects.

      Yes, I was presenting at DataCentres Ireland today, the web summit last week, host in Ireland the week before. I’ve also been to Frankfurt and Cigre in Paris this year to present at various conferences.
