• Question: How long did you spend in college ?

      I never left! I started my degree in 2002, studied in three different departments and now I’m working towards my 5th graduation (the big one, the PhD). It’s not that I love college but I’ve been lucky to have had so many opportunities come to me. I will leave soon………….I hope!

      I did fours in NUIGalway to get my electronic engineering degree. The 1 year in UCD for a business diploma and 4 years part-time on an MPhil from Queens University. Finally finished all this time last year!

      4 years on my degree and 4 years on my PhD. I also hung around for a while longer lecturing as I enjoyed it so much. 🙂

      What should have been four year I did in five. I did three full time with the last year part time while i had a full time job as operations technican in the power station

      5 years as an undergrad but 1 year was industry experience (I worked in a company) then 3 years for my phd.
