Question: what is the difference between Mountlucas wind farm and all the other ones or is there a difference?

Mountlucas was different for me as it was the first project I worked on. It was also the first large wind farm to be developed in Co. Offaly. The wind monitoring gave us wind data that showed us that we needed to use turbines with large rotor diameters to capture the same energy as a turbine with a small rotor on a coastal site. The turbines that are installed on the site are some of the largest in Ireland.
