The most I like – solving problems
The least thing – no big downsides to engineering. Friends and family do tend to ask you to fix everything for them – PC’s, Phones, TV’s etc. But its nice to help out when I can, so its a good complaint! 🙂

I like challenges and engineering gives lots of those. For everything you solve, there’s 2 new ones to think about.

I hate that engineers aren’t always recognised for what they do. Engineers solve problems, somebody else publicises the solution and often takes the credit from the engineers. If that credit was going where it should, we’d have a lot more engineers!

I love making things that work. I hate when the thing I’m trying to make doesn’t work and I can’t figure out why. It’s usually something small that I’ve overlooked.

I enjoy turning ideas into reality… Real things from a simple idea.

One downside of engineering is that it is not as highly viewed or respected as a doctor or a lawyer.. Takes a similar amount of training and responsibility and can pay equally as well.
