I agree with John on this, physics and maths would be the most important. I didn’t do physics in school but that didn’t prevent me from becoming an engineer.
Engineers need to be able to both think outside the box to find new solutions and be logical with how the new idea will work.
I also studied maths and physics. You don’t have to study physics but it really helps with first year. I really wish I had studied economics as well (my school didn’t teach it). Engineering isn’t just about maths and physics, as John said it’s about being able to think for yourself and solve problems.
