  That’s a great question and one I should have expanded on. I get to help others through my research. I make things and other people come to me for help. One example is my solar cell testing area, I created it and added a lot of speciality functions – I’ve had students and people from industry come and use it. Another example we work with LEDs and my group was approached by someone from a different department who wanted to put LEDs on horses. We collaborated and proved her research for her by building a prototype. She then formed a company which has been very successful
