Question: Is the 3D printing safe for people?

It depends on the type of printing you do. Anything with plastics is very safe, you could have one in your own home. But when it comes to metal things are a bit trickier – when I’m printing something I have to wear steeltoe boots, a fullbody suit, gloves and a breathing mask! This is because the printer uses really fine powder and it can be harmful to you if you breathe it in. So for safety I wear all that gear and the printer is in it’s own room with it’s own ventilation and filter system
