Question: what gave you the idea of using a 3d printer to make shoulder replicas.

The shoulder implant that I’m making can only be made using 3D printing so I didn’t really have another option. As 3D printing becomes bigger it’s opened up a lot of doors to engineers that weren’t previously available – and hopefully this will allow me to create something that helps people and reduces some of the problems of current implants (like not fitting into a person properly – now you can make a custom implant for someone that fits perfectly!)
