Researchers have been working hard to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus. Recently, great progress in this pursuit has been reported; however, the vaccine is still in a premature state.
Further, as you might know, it is a prerequisite to perform clinical trials before approving the vaccine for public use. So, once the vaccine is developed, the next step would be its trial on animals.
When a successful trial is demonstrated, only then the vaccine can become available for public use.
So, in summary, although there is no fixed timeline, however, we can expect to have a cure available for the coronavirus by summer 2021.
