Hi Ella, I know a lot of them. My favourite is Orion (the hunter) because it is really nice to see in the Irish winter sky with its 3 star belt.

Nope definitely not. But I like Orion. When I am at my Mum’s place in rural Kilkenny I love to look up and see his belt and dagger there. It is as if I can see Orion as a person!!

I wish I knew more, I just know a few I’m afraid. Orion is really great. And I’m really enjoying seeing the southern cross at the moment every evening from Australia- because once I come back home to Ireland, I won’t be able to see it until I return to the southern hemisphere again. I also like to pick out the planets too in the night sky- they’re pretty special, especially since the planets you can see varies a lot over the year. Uranus, Venus, Saturn & Mars are about this month if you want to go check them out in your night sky.

Hi Ella, It’s really hard to know all of the constellations since there are so many of them! I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that everyone here loves Orion. It’s very impressive in the nights sky during the winter. My second favourite is definitely Cassiopeia.
