• Question: what have you designed/ done in the recent years and what do you most enjoy doing

      Work related, I haven’t physically created much by myself. I’ve been heavily involved in designing up the plans for the technicians on the floor of the factory to install electric cables for the propulsion system (engine) of the satellite.

      In recent years I have made a lot of guitar effects pedals. I used to gig with them as well and they never let me down đŸ™‚

    When I worked at UCC – Cork, I was responsible for gather lots of information in order to see how Ireland´s climate has changed over the last 100 years. SO I worked with Met Eireann, teh Marine Institute, Teagasc and others to collect all the information on measurements that have been donew of the cliamte. SO I looked at this data and information and wote a report which showed how air temperature, rainfall amounts, sunshine hourse, sea temperature, sea levels, forest cover, soil moisture and lots of other things have changed in teh last cenury. And without a doubt our climate has been changing. SO there was a great sense of achievement in publishing that.

    I enjoy getting my teeth stuck into solving a problem. Little by little you make progress and eventually hopefully you discover something new that no one else knoew before. It might not be Earth shattering in itself, but its a little bit of new knpowledge.
