• Question: Who is your favourite engineer?

      Hard to say but Charles Babbage is pretty good as he came up with the first ideas about computers – so without him we would not be using the Internet to answer these questions.

      I would say Leonardo da Vinci- he invented the helicopter years before we had even figured out how to fly. He’s my favourite engineer because he was also artistic as much as he was an inventor- I like to hear about people like that, because it doesn’t make me feel so weird!

      I think Eton Musk is really cool because of his work in building SpaceX. He is pushing the barriers to allow people other than astronauts to get to space which I like a lot.       Definitely Elon Musk! Where he has come from to where he is now is an unbelievable achievement on his part. He also has a lot of the same views that I have on how and why we need to go to Mars. He pretty much built his whole career around wanting to get us to Mars.
