Hi Ally, for some meetings definitely it would be a lot easier to sit face to face and discuss the problems we need to solve. But for smaller issues, or regular updates, you can achieve a lot with email, phone, and we use something called WebEx, which is like Skype so you can have video calls, but you can also share your computer screen, so if you have a computer model of a spacecraft or a presentation, you can show someone else exactly what you are talking about.
