• Question: do you get frustrated when you cannot solve a problem and how do you clear your head and solve it

      Thanks for the question.

      Yes all the time, most days I’m frustrated I can’t get something but it comes as part of the job. My advice would be to be persistent. I would say that persistence was one of the main reasons I became good at maths. Keep working and working at a problem, no matter how long it’s taking. It’s a great feeling when you finally solve it after so long.

      Take a break, not TV but like a cup of tea and walk around the house. You’d be surprised how much that helps. In the past, I’ve gotten the answer a few times pretty much instantly after a break.
