Question: Is NASA going to do anything about space junk?

Well, let me answer for ESA the European Space Agency, where I work.
We are actively doing something about this.
It’s called “Clean Space” and you can find more about it here:

We are even designing a special spacecraft that will retrieve older satellites that are no longer working and trash them by making them burn up in the atmosphere.
