      I guess this is a good question for the Health zone, never mind.
      I’ll give it a try.

      Microbes are living biologic entities which are microscopic in size, hence their name. They comes in many types and can be grouped into Bacteria and Viruses.
      Most importantly they can have positive and negative impacts on our lives.

      Positive: There is a complex system of bacteria in our guts. Without these we would not be able to properly digest our food.
      Negative: The Ebola Virus can kill a person – even though its very very small and hard to detect.
