• Question: would a guitar sound the same on a space station?

      It does! The international space station is pressurized and has an air supply to keep the astronauts alive. The sound we hear is actually vibrating air molecules picked up by the ear so where there is air (or other gasses and liquids) sound can travel.

      A couple of years ago astronaut Col. Hadfield performed a few David Bowie covers on the international space station and they sounded pretty good 🙂
