• Question: archeologists discovered a mesolithic stone age rock dating back to 6000 bc showing a hunting scene with a bright flash in the sky the archeologists used to think the flash was the sun but now they think it was a star that died (AKA a supernova) 8000 years ago. what do you think?

There have been a lot of cases of this. It is likely something like that was a supernova. We are meant to see one per century – and scientists predict that Betelgeuse will be the next star to go supernova. If it does it will be so bright, we would see it during the day.
