I got involved in this because I love engineering, and working in space stuff, so I wanted to tell others about it.

If I win I’ll use the money for two things.
Half will go to Citywise in Jobstown, Tallaght, to help with their STEM programmes. See
      http://www.citywise.ie
The other half will help in explaining the first Irish satellite, EIRSAT-1, to school pupils. See

I really like talking to people about what I do, especially schools! I have done some talks during space week regarding climate change and satellite data and teh questions I get are always very interesting and fun. Talking to students about science is very exciting! And I am a great supporter of STEM activities 🙂 With the prize money, I would like visit schools or communities and do this really, but in person 🙂

I like telling the public about the cool research that goes on in Ireland, and this is a good way to do it! I’m very lucky to be involved in a cool space project, EIRSAT-1, and I want younger people to know about the mission, because some day it will be you guys who will be building more Irish satellites!

I’d spend the money on doing more EIRSAT-1 outreach. An interactive exhibition of the parts of a satellite is something I’d love to run. I’d like kids to be able to play with the satellite in real time!
