It’s not really an app, but a website, and it’s called galaxyzoo.org. It’s a citizen science site which means that anyone can go on and do science. It shows you images of galaxies never seen by anyone before and the site takes you through a path where you classify the galaxy (eg. Help scientists know it’s size and shape). This helps scientists identify new galaxies.
