• Question: can you be an engineer for anything

      Probably not for anything but for more things than many people expect.
      I am in software engineering but there are many other kinds of engineering. In general I understand engineering as planning and constructing things. That can be software, cars, trains, planes….

      What king of engineering were you thinking of? Do you have any particular interests?

    Engineering is a pretty broad field. YOu can write computer programs build computers, bits of electronic kit, power supply systems, roads, building, space craft, air conditioning systesm. Without engineers we would not have much man made stuff here on Eareth . Engineers take good science ideas and turn them into something practical.
