Good question. When it’s finished, and I have something that works, probably a lot. The most advanced research robot’s currently sell for around 2million dollars. Obviously in time the prices will drop though.
Up until now the robot’s I’ve built have been mostly prototypes. They have been built to test/explore a technical concept or to help development on a particular aspect of Robotics. For example, the first two assistant robot’s were built to explore locomotion and how the robot should physically move. They have few sensors and no real capability for artificial intelligence. The later prototype was the opposite – had really basic mechanicals but lots of sensors and computers for AI. On their own, they don’t have very high value – maybe 10-20 thousand euro? Something like that..
