It depends on the size and type. Some small batteries have more energy than big batteries because they are made with better materials. SO they have a higher energy density.
Elon Musk is trying to make better batteries with higher energy densities in his Giga Factory. This is so he can make his cars go further on a smaller battery. This reduced the weight of his electric cars and improves their performance.
