• Question: what was the experience in the reserve defence forces like?

      Absolutely brilliant! Having an engineering-based mind helped a lot. We did a lot of shooting (at TARGETS, not animals) and it was great seeing how guns worked, they are very well engineered. Other than that, I loved the fitness, the discipline, the camping, and the friends you make.
