Lightning is typical at 10s of thousands of volts. TVs run on 230 volts.
230 volts is still very uncomfortable, and can kill.
In a previous job, I worked on implanted defibrillators that could delivery ~1800 volts to stop someone’s heart from fibrillating (quivering, without effectively pumping blood). People who had experience a shocked from it compared it to bring kicked in the chest by a horse. However, it is life saving technology, which allowed many people to live a normal life.
In most cases, users will be unconscious due to the lack of blood pressure when the shock is delivered.
