      I don’t think the public realises how much engineers are responsible for. We are responsible for so much more than roads, cars and planes.

      I think people are usually quite impressed when I tell them what I do but sometimes people don’t really understand what engineering is.

      I just don’t think people really realise all of the things that engineers do and build in their day to day lives.
