• Question: Hi your job seems really interesting, I wanted to know how you do your design process, for example do you have are usual start point that you use?

Before I start any project I make sure I do a lot of research so I look at other similar device designs and find out what works best for in certain designs and what didn’t work best in others. I usually find looking at what didn’t work and mistakes that were made teaches you a lot.
Then I usually start with what is called a prototype, this a basic design that you can make quickly. I then test the prototype and find what does and doesn’t work. I then go back and rethink my design again.
I usually have to do a few prototypes before I have enough information to decide on a final design.
