      I’ve heard a lot of people say that the “invention” of science occurred when the first caveman made fire.

      It’s as good an answer as any I suppose!

      That is one I don’t think there’s a clear answer for. just like when you say who was the first person to speak english ? or light a fire? we only know as far back as history was documented but from centuries ago men and women have been making and testing new things so there have always been “engineers” and “scientists” they just were ahead of their time and written history
