My Work: Engineer researching advanced energy technologies (Solar panels, Biomass fuels, Algae/Seaweed Fuels) and 3D Printing technologies.

My Typical Day: I dont have a typical day, most days are different, one day i could be complining a policy document for the EU parliment, the next conducting fuel extraction experiments in Lab, then next in another country attending EU project managment meetings.I love that every day is different.

What I'd do with the money: I would use the money to buy materials to hold more 3D printing workshops/Displays in schools, Opendays and at public events like DublinMaker, Science Hackday & community science events.

Passonate, Friendly & a Tech-Nerd.
What's the best thing you've done in your career?
Getting to travel to lots of different places (UK, France, Germany, Belgium,Netherlands + many more)
What or who inspired you to follow your career?
My Dad did, who worked as a car mechanic, so i spent years helping him fix cars.
What did you want to be after you left school?
I always wanted to be an engineer of some sort, I just didnt know what type of engineer.
Were you ever in trouble at school?
The odd time, but not often.
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
Probably a car mechanic.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
Most rock bands from the 60’s & 70’s (Rolling Stones, Led Zeplin etc.)
What's your favourite food?
Rib-Eye Steak
What is the most fun thing you've done?
Driving anything out of the ordinary (Yacht, Airplane, Quad Bikes etc.)

I went to the doctors the other day and I said, ‘Have you got anything for wind?’ So he gave me a kite.
