      An algorithm is a step-by-step set of instructions to solve a problem. Let’s say I am asking you to show me a video on Youtube. What do you do? For instance:

      1. You turn on your phone if it is not on (or similarly unlock it).
      2. You make sure your wifi/data is on.
      3. If you have enough battery, you open YouTube app. If not, you start charging your phone and repeat step 3.
      4. You search for the name of the video on Youtube.
      5. If the search results display the relevant video, you show it to me, and we are done. If not, you refine your search at step 4 by using a different title.

      This would be one potential “algorithm” that you follow when solving the problem of “can you show Begum the video titled ‘abc’ on Youtube?” Hope this helps 🙂
