Question: Working as a brewer sounds interesting, how was that?

It was a very fun and interesting job indeed! I learned so much, and I got to develop my own beer which were also sold to people, so that was a huge accomplishment and a nice thing to have done.
I learned so much about the actual process of brewing beers, about the ingredients and about what it is like to be a brewer.

It is also physically a hard job sometimes, even though we were a relatively small brewery, only making 1000-1500L of beer at a time. Some days would involve having to carry 1000kg of malt to the storage, or bring out lots of heavy boxes full of beer. I have never been stronger, than I was when I worked as a brewer.
In the end, what I missed was being in the laboratory and doing research, which is why I got back to into engineering 🙂
