• Question: Does poo in anyway pollute or harm any life in the ocean?

      Good question.

      i was recently in Tanzania and the human waste from the city just discharges straight into the ocean.

      This is a problem mostly for humans in case they come into contact with it, but its also not great for ocean life as decomposing waste needs oxygen and may use it up leaving the fish without it. This is more of a problem in smaller water bodies though, the ocean is big enough to dilute the waste.
