      Hi!

      So most recently I’ve been working to empty pit latrines – which i love. I wish I could attach photos to show you!

      If you skip to 5 minutes into this video, you will see a man emptying a latrine (a basic toilet that just collects waste in a pit underneath): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBsQj6m55Lw

      The machine he is using is called a Gulper. My main experiments were to design equipment to make this process easier.

      The video is made by the organisation I used to work for so it probably explains my work quite well.
