• Question: In your opinion what is the best invention ever?

      Hi Molly,

      This is a tough question 🙂

      Rather than pick one, I’ll name a few:
      1. Penicillin – Antibiotics have saved millions and millions of lives over the last 100 years.
      2. Modern agriculture (not really an invention?) – our world population has grown hugely in the last 100 years(2 billion to 7 billion) but we have improved farming methods to feed all of these extra people.
      3. The internet or World Wide Web – This has a huge effect on research, politics and communication.

      Hi Molly – the toilet gets voted as the next medical intervention regularly because it does so much for human health.

      My favourite modern gadget is my Luci Light which is an inflatable solar lantern that I bring camping…its so nifty!
