Question: What is Biosystems engineering ?

Biosystems Engineering was a course at UCD which merged an understanding of biological processes with engineering. It had a heavy focus on environmental and agricultural applications. Unfortunately the undergraduate degree no longer runs but it can be studied at postgraduate level.

The great thing about any engineering degree is that you can switch disciplines quite easily.. Any engineering degree tells your prospective employer that you are a strong problem solver and that’s the main quality people tend to want.
