• Question: what inspired you to try and create a device that works like a human brain?

      There are many people and groups around the world trying to create things similar to this. I was researching into what they were doing and it excited me as it was related to my degree project – Memristors. I wanted to try different materials and layouts.

      So I kept searching for lecturers that were advertising PhD spots based on this – Anything that could help people and used nanotechnology.
