I think engineering has changed the way that I look at everything around me. Instead of just looking at things and how they look on the outside, I also think about whats going on on the inside. For example, when I used to go to concerts I would just think about the singing and the music but now I find that I’m always looking at the lighting and sound and how many speakers and different types of lights they have set up – it gives you a much greater appreciation for how much work and preparations has actually gone into things like.
