      The Hubble Space Telescope is the best instrument in space!!! So the invention of the telescope 🙂 🙂 🙂 The Hubble Space Telescope was invented by Lyman Spitzer, who first proposed the concept in 1946.

      I don’t think we invented anything that is helping space, instead the research probes that we are sending out are helping us understand what is out there.

      There are so many but off the top of my head I would say the telescope – the fundamental discoveries that were made with this instrument changed the way we think about the Universe and our place within it!
