Question: what type of person do you think should pursue a career in engineering?

I’ve met two kinds of engineers.

1. People who are stupidly passionate about solving problems and building solutions, and get excited at the mere thought of their job.
2. People who are just looking for a career which promises stability and money.

I fall into the former category and I want to say that only people who truly love it should do it but actually.. The people I know who fall into group 2 are very happy and they’re good engineers. It doesn’t matter what the motivation is, if you want to be an engineer, you should give it a go! As long as you understand that it’s a lot of hard work and won’t always be easy!
