Sometimes I do. Most of the time it is not as difficult as it sounds. It takes a lot of time management, and so far it is working. 🙂 It helps to have a good family support too. Everyone in my family has to pitch in. I have three older kids who are able to take care of themselves. I leave them a list of things (usually one each) I want done before I get home. Thank goodness, they do what I ask. They get chore money, so that is probably their motivation. 😀 Also, I go in really early in the morning, so I can get home in time to prepare dinner and take the kids to soccer/dance/judo, and pick up my 3 year old from creche.
No I find it easy to balance. My family are in work most of the time the same as me and we see one another in the evenings and weekends. When travelling abroad it can be difficult but there are ways to stay in touch on social media and skype. So it is not hard at all.
