• Question: Do you get weekends off

      Nearly all my weekends are off, except maybe if i have to travel to another country, then i might have to travel at the weekend or could have a weekend conference to go to. The odd time is a project deadline is coming close i might have to work at the weekend.

      In theory yes, I don’t have to work weekends. The problem with my job though is a lot of it is voluntary…I agree to do some work on a forensic case, say, or to give a talk somewhere…or enter a fascinating competition called “I’m An Engineer…” and then I find I don’t have enough time to do everything in the week.
