Right now I’m wearing yellow trousers and a grey T-shirt. I work in a university so I don’t really have to dress in any special way. Some companies make you wear a suit (if you’re a man, that is!) but most are not too fussy these days.

Normal days i just wear normal clothes (Jeans, T Shirt, hoodie). If im working alot in the workshop, i will wear a lab coat over my normal clothes. If im working on cars, ill wear mechanics overalls.
Important meetings, presentations, conferences etc. i will wear suit (Normally with a flowery shirt), and i would wear a tuxedo 3/4 times a year at engineering events (Black tie balls etc.).

My work is “smart casual” which means you don’t have to wear a suit, guys don’t have to wear ties, but you can’t wear a track suit either! I normally wear pants & t-shirt, or black jeans & a shirt. I don’t meet customers too often so it’s not as important.

I can wear anything I like- even jogging bottoms and a jersey if i’m feeling really really lazy! But if i’m in the lab I have to wear steel toe boots and a lab coat to keep my clothes clean and myself safe.
